Moroz Family Summer 2022

  Rider game July 29th Summer Adventure 4B!! An impromptu detour to Regina Sask to attend the Saskatchewan Roughriders BC Lions CFL game en route to the Family reunion.   A haphazardly lucky opportunity to walk on the actual field and carry an immense Canada flag prior to the playing and singing of our national anthem.  A spectacular evening of football and crossing paths with old friends (whom I shall detail in other posts to follow). I even managed to drag my wife out and get her to smile after our adventures today. Blessed to enjoy this exceptional day!  🙏❤️🎉

  Saturday July 30 Up at 5 for no apparent reason. Moving by 645. Showered. Car packed. Fuelled up. Breakfast by 715 and gone by 730. Quick stop at Starbucks and off to Yorkton for the family reunion. Car ran great. Had to take a few back roads but ended up at Saltcoats by 10 and dropped Krista off at Mom and Dads Motorhome and I headed off to the Golf tournament.  Lovely little 9 hole course - Best ball tourney. Our team of 2 adults and 2 kids did really well and ended up with Par 27! I hope it’s good enough for the win!  Visited the owners of the golf club in their 116 year old house they are using as a clubhouse. Amazing!  Meanwhile Krista went out for lunch and won $19 on a VLT! Lucky girl!  We left the course and met everyone at Uncle Ewen’s and Aunt Shirley’s in Saltcoats for a great visit for a couple hours before heading over to the hall.  We had a spectacular supper of roast beef and salads and desserts.  An outstanding program with remembranc...

   Thursday July 28 Alarm at 7 and Krista on the computer by 8 working virtually from Martensville Sk for Enmax.  Yummy breakfast with mom and dad. Big morning for errands.  Reminded the parking sign with Visitor spelled incorrectly (VISTOR) and traced out the proper letters to spell visitor and put it back on the parking post.  Got all my badges out and got mom to sew them on to the back of my vest. I had to iron on a bunch as well. It looks AMAZING! Except for the one badge from Wisconsin that’s supposed to say Wyoming. Brain fart. Whoops. Ordered one from Amazon and will be here in a couple of weeks.  Had lunch and then ran into Saskatoon with the TA to pick up some stools for my friend Sheri in Regina. Cruised 8th ST for a bit and then rushed home to hit the farmers market in Warman and buy some beans, cucumbers, potatoes and carrots.  Finally got finished running errands and sat down and had a beer.  Family started pouring in from Calgary and...

  Wednesday July 27 Horrible sleep on the hide a bed and up with the birds. Breakfast at 7 with mom and dad and cousin Lindsay who just got off a 12 hr shift working as a nurse on Saskatchewans Air Ambulance flying all over the province teaching people and delivering babies.  We headed to her place and picked 2 pails of wild cherries, watered all the outdoor plants as well as mowed the lawns. We hopped in her little diesel car and off to Costco to buy two carts of supplies for the family reunion. A couple more errands and home for lunch of homemade wonton soup!  A quick nap and off and running as we drove the Jeep car up to Rosthern and brought the Motorhome coach back to the city from the park. We headed straight to Costco and waited half an hour but got both the coach and the car we were pulling behind filled up with fuel for 155.9 and saved more than 13 cents a litre!  Home to the condo and bbq burger with auntie Etta joining us as she lives just down the hall in ...
